Payasam - Vermicelli Payasam



Ingredients

Vermicelli (Semiya) : 1 cup
Milk : 500 ml













Sugar : 200 gms
Cashew Nuts
Raisins










Ghee : 100 ml
Oil : 1 tsp

Method

Fry the vermicelli (Semiya ) in oil and keep aside
Boil milk in a vessel or saucepan
When milk starts boiling add fried vermicelli to it and boil till the semiya become little soft
Add sugar to it and boil on slow flame for 10 minutes
Fry cashew nuts, raisins in ghee and add to semiya before serving
This dish can be served as chilled also
