Masala Kodi Koora - Spicy Chicken Curry

 
This tasty spicy chicken curry is very easy to cook and can be prepared by any one with minimum effort and time
 
Ingredients
 
Chicken : 500 gms
Onion : 6 (2 onions sliced and 4 for paste)
Tomato : 3 (Sliced)
Green Chillies : 5
Garlic : 6 cloves
Ginger : 1 inch piece
Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
Cardamom : 5
Cinnamon : 1 inch piece
Cloves : 5
Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
Chicken Masala Powder : 3 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil
 
Method
 
Wash and marinate the chicken with turmeric powder and salt
Take 4 Onions, Garlic, Ginger, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves and Cumin seeds, grind into smooth paste in a kitchen grinder
Heat oil in a pan add sliced onions, green chillies and fry for 2 minutes
Now add marinated chicken and fry till all the water evaporates from chicken pieces
Add ground onion paste and fry for 5 minutes
Add Corriander powder and fry for 2 more minutes
Add sliced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes
Add Chicken masala powder and mix well
Add water as per gravy requirment and cook till done
Serve hot with rice or chapati
