Tomato Annam - Tomato Rice


Rice : 250 gms
Tomato : 3 (Cut into medium size pieces)
Onions : 2(Medium size) : finely chopped
Green chillies : 3 (cut into pieces)
Garam Masala powder : 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
Cashew nuts
Salt (as per taste)
Oil for frying


Wash the rice dry the water and keep it aside
Heat the oil in a pan, add  sliced onions, green chillies and chopped tomato,  fry for 3 minutes and add ginger garlic paste, garama masala powder and salt and fry for 2 more minutes. Now add rice and water (1:2 ratio) and cook till done.

Serve hot with koorma or raita
