Stuffed Bread Pakoda

This tea time snack prepared with bread, gram flour and smashed potatoes are used for stuffing


Bread : 6 slices
Gram Flour (Besan) : 1 cup (For six pieces of bread)
Corn Flour : 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder
Oil for frying

For stuffing

Potatos : 2 medium sized
Onion : 1 (Chopped)
Green Chillies : 2 (Chooped)
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Chat masala : 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method for stuffing

Boil and peel potatoes, smash them coarsely
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste fry for 2 minutes
Add turmeric powder, chat masala and salt
Add smashed potatoes and fry for few minutes

Method for pakoda

Cut each bread slice into two traingle shapes
Spread the above prepared potato smash on one piece and cover it with the remaining one. Repeat the smae procedure with all slices
Take a bowl add gram flour (besan), corn flour, red chilly powder and salt mix well all the ingredients
By adding little water at a time make a fine batter (remember the batter should not be too loose)
Heat oli in a karahi or wok
Now dip each stuffed bread slice (one at a time) in gram flour (besan) batter and drop gently in karahi
 Fry on low flame till both sides of pakoda turns into golden brown color

Serve hot with sauce or tamarind (imli) chutney
