Aratikaya Pakoda - Plantain Pakoda


Ingredients

Arati Kayalu (Raw Plantain) : 2
Gram Flour (Besan) : 1 Cup
Corn Flour : 1 tsp
Red Chilly Powder : 1 tsp
Salt
Oil for frying


Method



Peel and cut the plantain into thin long slices
Take  a bowl add gram flour, red chilly powder and salt mix well


Add little water and make fine batter (neither too thin nor too thick)
Heat oil in a wok
Take one plantain slice at a time, dip in the gram flour (besan) batter and gently drop it in the oil
Repeat the procedure with few more slices (3-4 slices at a time depend upon the size of the wok) and fry till they turn golden brown.
Delicious aratikaya pakoda ready to serve




Serve hot with tomato sauce or imli ki chutney
