Cabbage Moong Dal Curry


Cabbage is very good for health and it makes a good combination with green gram split (moong dal). This curry is very tasty and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Cabbage : 1 medium sized













Moong Dal : 100 gms
Onion : 2 (chooped)
Red Chillies : 2
Garlic : 6 cloves
Mustard Seeds " 1 tsp
Blackgram Dal : 1tsp
Curry Leaves
Curry Masala Powder : 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil















Method

Fry the moong dal till it turns light brown and set aside
Finely chop the cabbage
Heat oil in a pan add siced onions, red chillies, garlic cloves, mustard seeds, black gram dal and curry leaves fry for two minutes
Add fried moong dal and fry for one minute
Add curry masala powder and salt
Add chopped cabbage and fry till all the water evoporates
Add little water and cook till done
Serve hot with rice or roti
