Chepala Iguru - Fish Gravy Curry

This fish curry prepared with the pond fish. Which are very tasty in compare to sea fish.

Ingredients

Fish : Washed and cut into pieces






















Tomato : 2 (Cut into pieces)























Onion : Finely Chopped
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
Green Chillies : 4 (Sliced)
Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Curry masala : 2 tsp
Corriander leaves for garnishing
Salt as per taste
Oil

For Marinating

Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Red Chilly powder : 2 tsp
Salt



Method

Marinate the fish pieces with turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt
























Heat oil in a karahi and fry the fish pieces till light golden color appears and keep aide























Add chopped onions, green chillies and garlic paste in the remaining oil, fry for few minutes
Add turmeric powder, curry masala powder and salt fry for 2 minutes
Add tomato pieces and fry till tomato turns into paste
Add water and cover with a lid
As water starts boiling add fried fish pieces and cook till gravy turns juicy
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with plain rice
