Chinese Veg Fried Rice

Rice is a main component of Asian food. There are many popular varieties of rice recipes like Biryani, Pilav or Pilaf, Pulihora, Chinese fried rice, Carom seed rice, Coconut Rice, Egg fried rice, Veg fried rice etc. Chinese fried rice is one of the most favorite food of many people and can be prepared at home with countless variations.
It can be prepared with fresh rice or left over rice along with vegetables, eggs or meat.
Here's a simple Chinese vegetable fried recipe.


Rice : 3 Cups (Freshly cooked or left over)
Carrot : 2 (Cut into small pieces)
French Beans : 100 gms (Cut into small pieces)
Green peas : 1 cup
Green chillies : 4 (Slitted)
Ginger : 1/2 inch piece (Finely chopped)
Garlic : 3 Cloves (Finely chopped)
Black pepper powder : 1 tea spoon
Soy sauce : 2 tea spoons
Chilly sauce : 1 tea spoon (Optional)
Chinese salt : 1 tea spoon
Common salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons


Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add carrot, beans, peas, green chillies, ginger, garlic and stir fry for 5 minutes on slow flame
Add salt and mix well
Add rice and continue stir fry for 3 minutes 
Add soy sauce, chilly sauce (optional), Chinese salt, black pepper and mix well
Continue stir fry for 5 minutes
Delicious mouthwatering Chinese Veg Fried Rice is ready

Serve hot with tomato sauce.
