Shark Fish Curry - Sora Chepa Iguru

Spicy and tasty Andhra non veg curry prepared with shark fish meat (Sora Chepa).

Ingredients



Shark Fish : 2-3 pieces


Onion : 2 (Finely chopped)


Green Chilies : 3 (Slitted)


Tomato : 2 (Cut into pieces)


Onion, Ginger, Garlic paste : 2 tbsp


Turmeric powder : 2 tsp


Curry Masala powder : 2 tea spoons


Garam Masala powder : 1 tea spoon


Salt : As per taste


Oil : 3 table spoons



Method

Wash and cut the shark into small pieces
Marinate with 1 tsp turmeric powder and salt for 15 minutes
Heat oil in a wok fry fish pieces moderately and keep aside
Add chopped onions, green chillies to the remaining oil and fry for 2 minutes
Add onion, ginger, garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes
Add turmeric powder, curry masala powder, salt as per taste and fry for 2 minutes
Add chopped tomatos and fry for 3 minutes
Add garam masala powder and mix well
Add water according to the gravy requirement and boil on high flame
When the gravy becomes thick add fried fish pieces and cook for 5 minutes on slow flame
Serve hot with rice
