Stuffed Egg Bonda

Here comes another stuffed bonda variety this time it's with an egg. Egg bonda is most common snack in India which is prepared with hard boiled eggs and gram flour (besan).
It's used as tea time snack as well as a side dish with main course.Here's a egg bonda recipe with a twist where egg yolk replaced with potato masala. This snack is real yummy and delicious.

Ingredients
Eggs (Boiled)
Oil for frying

For Stuffing

Potatoes : 2 (large) boiled 
Onion : 2 (finely chopped)
Green Chillies : 2 (chopped)
Garam Masala Powder : 1 tea spoon
Curry Masala Powder : 1 tea spoon
Salt as per taste
Oil : 1 table spoon
For cover
Besan : 1 cup
Red chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon


Method for preparing stuff

Peel and cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions, green chillies and fry till onions turns light  pink in color.
Add garam masala powder, curry masala powder, salt and fry for 2 minutes.
Add potato pieces, fry on slow flame for 3 minutes and keep aside.



How to make egg bonda?
Mix gram flour (Besan), red chilly powder, salt and make a slight thick batter by adding little water at a time.
De shell boiled eggs and cut into halves. Remove the egg yolk and fill it with the potato stuff prepared above.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed karahi/wok
Dip the stuffed egg in gram flour (Besan) batter and drop it into the karahi with filled side facing upwards.
Fry on slow flame till both the sides turn light golden brown color.

Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
