Paneer (Fresh Cheese) : 250gm
Capsicum : 2
Onions : 2 (finely chopped)
Red chilly powder : 2 tea spoons
Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : 1 tea spoon
Ginger and Garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Cashew nut paste : 1/4 cup
Oil : 4 tea spoons
Salt to taste
Cut the capsicum into medium size pieces.
Cut the paneer into 1 inch size pieces.
Heat oil in a wok/kadai, add chopped onions and fry till onions turn into light brown in color.
Add sliced capsicum and fry for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Add garlic, ginger paste and fry for 2 more minutes
Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt as per taste and fry for 2 more minutes.
Add paneer pieces and cook for 2 minutes.
Finally add the cashew paste and mix well.
Add little water if necessary and cook on medium flame for five minutes.
Tasty "Cashew Paneer Capsicum" is ready to serve.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
