Here's a very easy and simple Upma recipe prepared with leftover Small Idli.
This recipe is ideal for kids lunch box. It's a very healthy recipe and can be prepared in minimal time.
Ingredients: (For two servings)
Small Idli : 36 pieces
Onion: 1 (Finely chopped)
Green chilies: 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger : 1/2 inch piece (finely chopped)
Curry leaves: Few
Mustard seeds: 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tea spoon
Black gram dal: 1 tea spoon
Bengal gram dal: 1 tea spoon
Peanuts : 2 tea spoons
Oil : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste

Method (For preparing Small Idli Upma)
Heat oil in a pan add Bengal gram, Black gram, peanuts, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fry till mustard starts splitting.
Add onions, green chilies, curry leaves, chopped ginger and fry till onions turn in to light pink in color.
Add salt as per taste and mix well.
Add small idlis and fry for two minutes.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
