Delicious snack recipe prepared with raw plantain which is very tasty and extremely easy to prepare from Hema's Kitchen.
Arati kayalu (Raw plantain) : 2
Gram flour (Besan) : 2 table spoons
Onions : 2 ( finely chopped)
Green chilies : 3 ( chopped)
Curry leaves : few
Ginger : 1 inch piece (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves : few
Red chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil for deep fry
Peel the plantain, cut into four pieces and boil in water for 5 minutes.
Mash the boiled plantain, mix gram flour, chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger pieces, coriander leaves, red chilly powder and salt.
Now heat oil in a deep bottomed pan.
Make round shape with the paste and fry on medium flame till they turn golden brown in color.
