Drumstick makes a good combo with goat meat.Here's a very tasty protein rich curry prepared with mutton and healthy drumsticks from Hema's Kitchen.Ingredients
Mutton : 1/2 kg
Drumsticks : 3 (cut into 1 inch pieces)
Onions : 4 (finely chopped )
Green chillies :4
Tomatoes : 2
Ginger, garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Red chilly powder : 2 tea spoons
Garam Masala : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon
Mutton masala : 2 tea spoons
Oil : 2 table spoons
Salt to taste
Wash the mutton under running water thoroughly
Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilly powder and ginger garlic paste to the mutton, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, add chopped onions, green chilies and fry till onions turn into light brown.
Add marinated mutton and fry for 5 minutes on low flame.
Add tomato pieces cook till the tomatoes are soft, once the water from the mutton dries add garam masala powder and mutton masala mix well.
Now add sufficient water and cover the vessel with a lid cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
Finally add the drumstick pieces and cook till done.
Serve with hot Rice or Roti.
