Bottle Gourd Paratha - Sorakaya Roti

Here's a very healthy and tasty Paratha (Indian flat bread) recipe "Bottle Gourd Paratha" prepared with wheat flour and grated bottle gourd. 

Ingredients

Wheat flour : 2 cups
Grated bottle gourd : 1 cup
Green chillies : 4
Ginger : small piece
Cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Coriander leaves : few
Salt to taste
Oil


Method

Grind green chillies, cumin seeds and  ginger into smooth paste.
Take a bowl add wheat flour, grated bottle gourd, salt, coriander leaves and green chilly paste and make a tight dough by adding little water.
Make 2 to 3 inches round balls with the dough and roll them into flat round shapes like paratha
Heat a tawa, roast parathas on low flame.
Apply oil on both sides and roast till done.
Serve hot with chicken curry or dahi raita.
