Crispy Brinjal Pakoda

Here is a simple and crispy snack recipe prepared with Brinjal and gram flour.


Ingredients :

Brinjal (Vankayalu) : 2
Gram flour (besan ) : 1 cup
Red chillie powder : 2 tea spoons
Rice flour : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Oil to fry


Method :

Cut the brinjal into thin long pieces and keep aside.
Add gram flour, rice flour, red chillie powder, salt into above brinjal pieces and mix well.
Add little water at a time to make thick smooth paste.
Heat oil in a karahi, make desired shapes with the above mixture and gently drop in the oil.
Fry on low flame till they turn into golden brown.
Brinjal pakoda ready to serve.
Serve hot with sauce.
