Saggubiyyam Daddojanam

Here is a very simple recipe Saggubiyyam (tapioca) daddojanam, which is prepared with tapioca (saggubiyyam) and curd. Which is extremely tasty and easy to prepare.

Ingredients :

Tapioca (saggubiyyam) : 1cup
Curd : 1/2 cup
Green chillies : 2
Red chillie : 1
Mustard seeds : 1 tea spoon 
Black gram dal : 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves : few
Ginger : 1/2 tea spoon (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves : few
Asefoetida (hing) : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil : 4 tea spoons

Method :

Soak tapioca (saggubiyyam) for 2 hours.
Drain and wash thoroughly.
Add 2 cups water, salt into the tapioca and boil it till it turns soft.
Heat oil in a pan add black gram dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger pieces, green chillies, red chillies fry till it turns light brown.
Add tapioca (saggubiyyam) into above mixture and mix well.
Add asefoetida and curd into above mixture and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot or cool.
