Kakarakaya Pakodi - Bitter Gourd Fritters

Here is an easy and tasty snack recipe which is prepared with bitter guard and gram flour.

Ingredients :

Bitter gourd : 3
Gram flour :1 cup
Rice flour : 1 table spoon
Red chilly powder : 1 tea spoon 
Salt to taste 
Oil for deep frying

Method :

Wash and chop the bitter gourd into thin slices.
Add the salt to the bitter gourd
pieces and leave for 10 minutes, drain them.

Add gram flour, rice flour, red chilly powder, salt, add little water and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and  fry the above bitter gourd pieces till they turns golden brown.
Remove from the oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.

    1. One of our fav and I usually something similar. Bitter gourd is the perfect natural remedy for diabetes and works to keep my other half's sugar level in control.
