Soft Besan Pakoda - Methani pakodi

Tea time snack best suited in winter season is hot hot Pakodas. One such variety is "Soft Besan Pakoda" which will be very soft that is prepared by mixing Onions and Chillies. Here is a an easy and tasty tea time snack recipe "Soft Besan Pakoda".
Ingredients :

Gram flour (besan) : 2 cups
Onions : 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies : 8 (chopped)
Carom seeds (vaamu) : 2 tea spoons
Baking soda : 1/4 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method :

Take gram flour in a bowl, add onions, green chilly pieces, carom seeds, baking soda, salt and mix well.
Add little water and make soft batter.
Heat oil in a pan , take gram flour mixture in small lumps and drop them in oil.
Fry on medium flame, till they turn into golden brown.
Soft Besan Pakoda (Methani pakodi) is ready to serve.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
