Fried Bread Biryani

Here's an another exclusive biryani recipe (Fried bread biryani) which is prepared with bread and basmati rice. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.
Ingredients :

Basmati rice : 500 grms
Bread slices : 5 slices
Mint leaves : few
Cloves : 4
Bay leaves : 2
Cinnamon : 4 sticks medium size
Cardamom : 4
Green chillies : 4
Onions : 2 (chopped)
Ginger & garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Garam masala powder : 1 tea spoon
Oil or ghee : 2 table spoons
Salt to taste

Method :

Wash the basmati rice and keep aside.
Cut the bread slices into cubes.
Heat 1 table spoon oil or ghee in a pan add bread cubes and fry till they turn golden brown in colour, keep aside.
Heat remaining oil in a pan add onions, green chillies, bay leaves, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, ginger garlic paste and fry till the onions turns brown in colour.
 Add mint leaves, rice and mix well.
Add slat, garam masala powder and fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add water in the mixture in ratio of 1:2 (2 cup of water for every 1 cup of rice).
Cover the vessel with a lid and cook the rice till done.
Now remove the lid and place the fried bread cubes in the middle of cooked rice.
Cover with lid and leave it for 2 minutes before serving.
Serve hot with Kurma or Raita.
