Palak Ribbon Pakoda

The recipe Palak ribbon pakoda is another variation of normal ribbon pakoda, which is prepared with spinach paste (palak paste), rice flour and gram flour. These crispy palak ribbon pakodas are very tasty and easy to prepare.
Ingredients :

Gram flour : 2 cups
Rice flour : 2 cups
Spinach paste (palak) : 1 cup
Red chilly powder : 3 tea spoons
Butter : 1 table spoon
Sesame seeds : 4 tea spoons
Asafoetida powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry

Method :

Take a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, red chilly powder, sesame seeds, spinach paste (palak paste), salt, asafoetida powder, butter and mix well.
Add little water and Mix the flour into tight dough.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed wok/karahi.
Take little dough mixture and fill in the muruku maker.
Gently press and drop in the wok/karahi.
Fry the palak ribbon pakoda till they turn golden brown.
Palak ribbon pakoda is ready to serve.

These snack can be stored up to 2 to 3 weeks if stored in a clean and dry container.
