Here is a delicious and simple curry recipe which is prepared with paneer. It is very tasty and goes well with both roti and fried rice.
Paneer (cottage cheese) : 200 gms
Onions : 2 (chopped)
Green chillies : 4
Tomatoes : 2
Bay leaves : 2
Coconut : 3 inch piece
Red chilly powder : 1 tea spoons
Cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : 2 tea spoons
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Ginger paste : 1 tea spoon
Garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Tomato sauce : 2 tea spoons
Butter : 1 table spoon
Oil : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Cut paneer into cubes and keep aside.
Grind one chopped onion, tomatoes, coconut piece,cumin seeds to a paste.
Heat oil in a pan add onions, green chillies, bay leaves and fry till onions turn light brown.
Add ground paste into above mixture and fry for 3 minute on low flame.
Add ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and fry for 2 minuted on low flame.
Add red chilly powder, garam masala powder and mix well, now add paneer cubes and little water and cook till the gravy is thick.
Finelly add butter, tomato sauce mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
Serve hot with fried rice or roti.
