Chinta Chiguru Mamsam Iguru

Chinta chiguru mamsam (Tender tamarind leaves mutton curry) is a another famous Andhra non veg recipe, which is prepared with goat meat and tender tamarind leaves.
Tender tamarind leaves makes very good combo with goat meat and this slightly tangy dish is very tasty and easy to prepare.
Ingredients :

Mutton (Goat Meat) : 250 grms
Chinta chiguru (tender tamarind leaves) : 1 cup
Onions : 2 (chopped)
Green chillies: 4
Ginger, garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Onion,coconut paste : 2 table spoons
Red chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Curry masala powder : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : 2 tea spoons
Cloves : 2
Cinnamon stick : 1 inch piece
Cardamom : 2
Oil : 2 table spoons
Salt to taste.

Method : 

Wash and marinate the mutton with turmeric powder,red chilly powder and salt.
Wash the tender tamarind leaves and keep aside.
Pressure cook the marinated mutton for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok add Cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and fry for 1 minute,
Add onions, green chillies and fry till onions turns light brown.
Add pressure cooked mutton and mix well.
Add curry masala powder, ginger garlic paste,onion coconut paste and fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add chinta chiguru (tender tamarind leaves) and mix well.
Add garam masala powder and salt fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add 1 cup of water and cook till the tamarind leaves become tender.
Delicious chinta chiguru mamsam iguru is ready to serve.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
