Here's a delicious and protein packed vada recipe " soya granules vada". Which is prepared with soya granules and black gram dal. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.
Black gram dal : 1 cup
Soya granules : 1/2 cup
Onions : 2 (finely chopped)
Green chilies : 4 (cut into small pieces)
Ginger pieces : 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Coriander leaves : few
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Wash and soak the black gram dal for two hours.
Grind the soaked dal into tight paste adding very little water.
Soak the soya granules in hot water for 10 minutes and squeeze all excess water.
Add soaked soya granules into above paste and mix well.
Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt into above mixture and mix well.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan (kadai).
Take the paste and spread on your hand in a round shape and make a hole in the middle and gently drop into the oil and fry till vada turn into light brown in color.
Soya granules vada is ready to serve.
