Taro root Dry Prawn Curry - Chemadumpa Endu Royyalu Kura

Tara root has a many health benefits it reduce blood pressure, helps prevent cell damage, aids in skin rashes and control cholesterol, build strong bones and supports thyroid function.
Here's a simple and delicious curry recipe which is prepared with taro root(chemadumpa) and dry prawns (endu royyalu).
Ingredients :

Taro root (chemadumpalu) : 250 gms
Dry prawns : 1 cup
Onions : 2 (chopped)
Green chilies : 2
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Curry masala : 2 tea spoons
Garam masala : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Tomato paste : 1/4 cup
Oil : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste

Method :

Wash the dry prawns and keep aside.
Wash and boil the taro root till they turn soft.
Remove the skin and cut into medium size pieces
Heat oil in a pan add onions, green chilies fry till they turn light brown.
Add dry prawns, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add curry masala, garam masala, salt and mix well..
Add taro root pieces and tomato paste into above mixture and fry for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add one cup water and mix well. Cool till done
Tao root dry prawn curry is ready to serve.
Serve hot with rice.
