Baby Corn Bajji

Baby corn bajji is an another snack recipe, which is prepared with baby corn and gram flour. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.


Ingredients :

Baby corn : 5
Gram flour : 1 cup
Cumin powder : 2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Red chilly powder : 2 tea spoons
Ginger, garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Baking powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil for deep for
Salt to taste

Method :

Wash and cut the baby corn into long pieces, add water and boil for 5 minutes on low flame.
Take bowl add boiled baby corn pieces, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, ginger and garlic paste mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.
Take a bowl add gram flour, salt, baking powder, red chilly powder and mix well.
Add little water and make fine batter (neither too thin nor too thick).
Heat oil in a wok/karahi.
Take babby corn pieces and dip in the gram flour batter and gently drop in the oil.
Fry till they turn golden brown.
Delicious baby corn bajji is ready to serve.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
