Stuffed Tawa Paneer Roast

Stuffed tawa paneer roast is an another variety recipe from Hema's kitchen, which is prepared with paneer. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.


Paneer : 200 gms
Besan :1 table spoon
Curd : 1 table spoon
Red chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Ginger, garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : 1 tea spoon
Oil : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste

For stuffing :

Cumin powder : 1 tea spoon
Ginger, garlic paste : 2 tea spoon
Green chilly paste : 2 tea spoons
Lemon juice : 1 tea spoon
Cheese : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste

Method :

Cut the paneer into big square size pieces and slit the paneer pieces into half and keep aside.
Take a bowl add cheese, cumin powder, ginger, garlic paste, green chilly paste, lemon juice and mix well.
Stuff the paneer pieces with the above mixture and marinate for 10 minutes.
Take a bowl add besan (gram flour), curd, ginger, garlic paste, garam masala , red chilly powder, coriander powder, 1 table spoon oil, salt, mix well and make thick batter.
Dip the stuffed paneer into above mixture.
Heat tawa and apply oil on the surface.
Roast the paneer pieces on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Tasty stuffed tawa paneer roast is ready to serve.
Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
